Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd are joining forces for the upcoming Black Panther: The Album.

The TDE rapper and Tog Dawg are executive producing the project and at present we are learning that The Weeknd will be making some contributions. The movie itself is gearing up to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest premiere this year with pre-auction tickets already sold out. Kendrick Lamar is hoping that the hype around the moving will fuel interest in the soundtrack and already information technology'due south showing signs that information technology will.

There are a few singles off the project that has already been released including a cut that will be featured on Jay Stone's upcoming album. Circuitous reported that Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd are putting together a collaboration for the soundtrack.
